Ada attended St. Benedicts Catholic School, first grade through twelfth grade, and received her high school diploma. She worked as an Activities Director for different nursing homes around the Shawnee area. She enjoyed going to the casino and out to eat, especially Golden Corral. Ada loved the winter season and Christmas time. She also cherished her dog, Oreo, who was a great companion.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilson; and one brother, Victor Cope I.
Ada is survived by one sister, Rosemary Scheidt; one niece, Kristi Kessinger; one nephew, John Kessinger; and her best friend, Oreo.
Services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 with Pastor Victor Cope II officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 10, 2014 at Resthaven Funeral Home until 8:00 p.m.
