

Allene Faye Dutton (nee Riddle) passed away Peacefully on April 9, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, just one day shy of her 90th birthday. Born on April 10, 1936, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she was a lifelong resident who cherished her community and the people within it. Allene graduated from Shawnee High School and was a devout member of Rock Creek Baptist Church, where she was actively involved, particularly in Sunday school. Her faith and dedication to her church community were cornerstones of her life. Allene’s life was marked by her loving nature as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She shared a beautiful marriage with her husband, Bob Dutton, with whom she enjoyed traveling across the United States in their fifth-wheel RV. They cherished their winter trips to Arizona and South Texas, embracing the beauty of nature and the joy of exploration. A talented seamstress, Allene crafted most of the clothing for her three daughters during their childhood. Her Hobbies included playing cards, singing childhood songs with her twin sister Ailene and engaging in genealogy, which took her on many journeys to connect with distant relatives. Allene loved being right and winning at Skip Bo. An avid reader with a passion for history, Allene also enjoyed bird watching, always keen to identifying birds through her binoculars. She loved feeding and watching her foxes in the neighborhood. Allene is survived by her loving husband, Bob of Shawnee; daughters, Pam Kiehn and husband Dennis of Duncan, Dayanna Roshell and husband Robert of Lawton, and Cheryl Quinn and husband Kevin of Mustang; grandchildren, Shelley Fisher and husband Reggie of Lawton, Deana Tatum and husband GT of Shawnee, KS, Brittaney Todd of Lawton, Brooke Green and husband David of Dallas, TX, Jessica Barker and husband Earnie of Clinton, Jeremiah Giles and wife Erin of Clinton, and Amanda Beck of Grand Prairie, TX; 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister Helen McCully of Anacortes, WA, and sister-in-law Bernice Cook of Hollister, MO. She also has many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Allene was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ailene Crow, brother-in-law Weber Crow, her parents, Clyde and Nettie Riddle, and her grandparents, Albert and Ada Ailey. The funeral graveside memorial service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park, 44909 Hwy 3, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801 on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:00 am. Visitation, viewing and meet the family will be at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14 from 2 pm to 7 pm. Allene’s life and legacy will be celebrated by all who knew her, as she remains a cherished figure in the hearts of her family and friends.
