Shawnee resident, Calvin “C.S.” Stark Cullison, 85, passed away February 10, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 19, 1924 in Chandler to John and Cora (Smith) Cullison. He married his sweetheart Helen Lenora Hines January 19, 1946. He was an independent bricklayer for the majority of his life, leaving his mark all over Shawnee and around Oklahoma. He was a member of the Heritage Church in Shawnee. He enjoyed playing his guitar, square dancing, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Cullison; parents; and seven siblings. Those left to cherish their memories are his three children: Sharon and Clyde Barnard Sr. of McCloud, Richard and Darlene Cullison of Shawnee, and Randy and Peggy Cullison of Meeker; Eleven grandchildren: Angela Richards, Shannon Stallings, Sherry Woodham, Clyde Barnard Jr., Peter Hess, Melissa Bryant, Christopher Cullison, Canen Cullison, Melissa Capps, Cody Cullison, and Dustin Cullison; twenty-one great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be 8a-8p Friday at Resthaven. Services will be held 10am Saturday February 13, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home with Chaplain Donnie Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
