Charles Alvin Winkelman, Shawnee resident passed away January 3, 2013 at the age of 62. He was born November 25, 1950 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Roy Alvin & Beulah Catherine (Stevens) Winkelman. He grew up in and resided in Shawnee most of his life. He loved fishing, his motorcycle and his children. He was a member of BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Chirstopher Winkelman, and his brother; Billy Johnson. He is survived by; his daughters; Angie Crary, and Christy Close, his granddaughter; Ashley, his brothers; Roy Winkelman, and Jimmy Winkelman, his sisters; Carmaletta Dale, Linna Jean Hester, Linda Chesser, Brenda Tucker, and Niece Straley, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Downtown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
