Delores Jean McElfresh, 69, of Shawnee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 09, 2016. She was born December 27, 1946 to Odis and Inas McCray. She married Jackie McElfresh on May 13, 1963. They spent 52 years taking care of each other. They were blessed with 4 children.
Delores was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Jackie W. McElfresh Jr. and Terry L. McElfresh; her father and mother, Odis & Inas McCray; and 1 brother, Odis Dewayne McCray.
She is survived by her husband Jackie McElfresh; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie & Joe Fortson, Yvonne & Larry Blair; 1 granddaughter, Niki Wester; 2 grandsons, Caleb Blair & William Fortson; 1 great grandson, Colby Wester; 3 sisters, Bertha Anderson, Lavetta & Donald Reeves, Ladonna & Aldean Davis; 1 brother, Gary McCray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 2pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at Sharon Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am to 4pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
