Euteen Wade

Euteen Wade of Shawnee, Oklahoma, died Wednesday June 1, 2011 at the age of 89. She was born on March 31, 1922, in Hotulka, Oklahoma. Euteen was one of 14 children born to Samuel and Josie (Rivers) Booker. She married Calvin C. Wade on April 26, 1983. He preceded her in death. Euteen graduated from Dunbar High School in Shawnee, OK. She was a homemaker who became aware of what a true witness is Christ really meant through the love and affection she received from her family, friends and relatives. She loved to watch Walker Texas Ranger on television in her golden years. Euteen is survived by one estranged son, Felton Wade of Alaska; a caring niece, JoAnn (Booker) Adedze, whom she lived with until her death; a loving nephew, Stanley (Mattie) Booker of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one brother, Alexander Booker of Del City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Helen Winroe of Oakland, California; Mary A. Miller of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; Berniece (Eural) Blakely of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Euteen was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Delbert H. Booker, L.M. Booker, Otis Booker, Lloyd Booker, Earl Booker, Cal Booker and two sisters, Betty Parham and Priscilla Larkin.
