

Garry Dean Bennett of Little, OK, died Sat., February 16, 2013, at the age of 73. Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday February 19, 2013 at Highway Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will be at Little Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. Mr. Bennett was born May 4, 1939 as a twin to brother Gene, to Cody and Mamie Bennett in Prague, OK. He graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1957 in Little, OK. He married his high school sweetheart Wynonia Nipper on August 16, 1958. They were happily married 54 years. He retired from AT&T after 34 years. He was a member of Highway Baptist Church since he was 8 years old. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life. He also loved his horses and cows. Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his twin daughters Billie Sue and Terrie Lou, his parents, 2 brothers, Gene and JP Bennett, 3 sisters, Willa Mae Cox, Clara Presley, and Lois Mott. He is survived by his wife Wynonia Bennett of the home, 3 children, Bobby Bennett and wife Jan of Little, Rose Fulton of Little, Mamie Shanon and husband Josh of Mustang, 6 grandsons, Kyle Bennett and wife Stacey, Jake James and wife Kelli, Nate James and wife Renee, Tyler Bennett and wife Emily, JD Meyer, Gary “Bubba” Fulton, one granddaughter, Sarah House, 7 great-grandchildren, Ryle Bennett, Brier and Colt James, Kolton, Gracie, Deven, and Katelynn, one brother, Ray Bennett and wife Maxine of Wynnewood, one sister, Betty Romberg and husband Vernon of Shawnee, 3 sister-in-laws, Zelda Prather of Little, Phyllis Bennett of Mid West City, and Betty Bennett of Little, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Kyle Bennett, Jake James, Nate James, Tyler Bennett, JD Meyer, and Gary “Bubba” Fulton.
