Gary Edward Gray

Gary Edward Gray, 79 of Tecumseh passed away peacefully in his home May 19, 2026. He was born July 10, 1946 in Shawnee to EJ and Flossie Gray (Moucka). He was a graduate of Shawnee High School class of 1964, marrying DeeAnna Shields of McLoud in 1968. After graduation he joined the Air Force and was employed at Tinker for three and a half years. He spent ten years on Rock Island Railroad, retiring from General Motors after 30 years. During those 30 years he spent 15 years as a Reserve Officer for Pottawatomie County Sheriff, Tecumseh Police Department, and CPN Tribal. He is survived by his wife DeeAnna of the home, brother Ernie and wife Roxanne of Texas, daughter Lori Jones and husband Lowell of Shawnee, son Matt Gray of Tecumseh. Granddaughters Ashlyn Blassingame and Mati Gray of Tecumseh, Jaime Jones and Jeana White of Roff. One grandson, Josh Jones of Roff. Great grandchildren Hunter, Kailyn, Zoey, Kason of Tecumseh and Blakely, Rhylan, TJ, Joshua, Jameson and Jenson of Roff. He is proceeded in death by his parents EJ and Flossie Gray. Visitation will be Thursday May 28th from 4pm-7pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Hwy 3, Shawnee, OK 74801 with Services being held Friday May 29th at 2pm at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow.
