

Bub met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ May 29,2010 at the age of 25. He fought a long tough battle with Ewing's Sarcoma a rare form of bone cancer.
Before his "rough patch" as he would call it. He enjoyed sports of all kinds. As a child he swam on the YMCA swim team, played soccer, basketball, and baseball from tee-ball through college. Where his Dad was always his biggest fan. He also loved hunting ducks, pheasant and quail. During his "rough patch" he spent his good days on a pond or lake from here to Arkansas hoping to catch the BIG one with Hunter and Jery. During this time him and his "Momma Chickadee" as he called her caught up on Frazier and Law and Order. He also enjoyed embarrassing Trey every chance he got. His favorite meal came from Meme and Dee's. He loved Buddy and Max his dogs. He will be missed by many but mostly by his big "Sis" and life long friend til the end Cody Guinn.
He was proceeded in death by his sister Keri Ann Gowder, grandfather Charles Gowder and grandmother Wanda Gowder.
Survivors include his parents Larry and Carolyn Gowder, Sister Liz Green, Nephews Curtis "Trey" Green and Hunter Green, brother in law Jery Green, grandparents Kenneth (Dee) and Edith (Meme) Curtis, Uncles Ronnie Curtis, Randy Curtis and wife Misty, Charles Gowder and wife Debbie, Cousins Kelly and Rowdy Taron and children Curtis and Landry, Audrea Curtis, Dillon Curtis, and Amy and Mark Graban.
His celebration of life services will be Wednesday June 2 at 10:00 am at Immanuel Baptist Church Shawnee. Funeral services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. The Gowder family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, June 1, from 6p.m.to 8p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
