Longtime Shawnee resident, Lonnie McLaughlin, went to meet his Maker on September 5, 2011. He was born on February 16, 1953 to Johnnie and Phyllis Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Raymond "Red" McLaughlin; and his nephew, Michael McLaughlin. He is survived by two sons, Johnnie McLaughlin and Lloyd McLaughlin, and his wife, Sally; three grandchildren, Marissa, Lloyd II, and Samara. His visitation will be held Thursday, September 8th, from 8am-8pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held privately.
