Margie Lee Cook

Margie Lee (Roe) Cook, 82, of Sallisaw, OK, passed over to Heaven on November 10, 2013. A private memorial service was held for Margie on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Shawnee, OK.

Margie, born Oct 1, 1931, grew up in Shawnee, OK. Over her lifetime, she also resided in Amarillo, TX, Oklahoma City, OK and Tecumseh, OK. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmet Eugene Cook, her son, Mitchel Emmet Cook, her sister, Wanda June Roe, two brothers, Wayne Roe, Santa Clara, CA and Thurman Roe, Santa Maria, CA, and her parents, Elmer N. and Velma F (Hopkins) Roe.

Margie is survived by daughter, Mary Sue Cook, Ocean Township, NJ, daughter, Branda Lee (Cook) Reed and husband Jim Reed, Lafayette, LA, and daughter, Patricia J. Cook, Sallisaw, OK. Margie is also survived by six grandchildren, Michael Parton, Anadarko,OK, Daniel Cook, Oklahoma City, OK., Kevin and Michelle Lombarski, Ocean Township, NJ, Dustin Reed, Houston, TX, Tara & John Erickson, Lafayette, LA, and three great-grandchildren, Lily Smart, Alora Bonnavie, and Brooks Erickson. She is also survived by her youngest brother, Tony Roe, Fortuna, CA, and her sister-in-law, Dolores Roe, Santa Clara, CA, with whom Margie shared a special sisterly bond, and she is survived as well by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
