She was born in Colusa, CA to John and Emma Guerrettaz on October 3, 1943.
Nancy loved spending time with her family. In her earlier years she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant in California. She was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leonard Mathis; sons, Leonard Charles Mathis and Charles Monroe Mathis; and mother, Emma Louise Polmantter.
Nancy is survived by children, James Wesley Mathis, Joseph Anthony Mathis and Maria Lena Wood and her husband Daniel; and 5 grandchildren.
