Wanda Lou Ray

Wanda Lou Ray (Fore) daughter of the late Carl Harmon Fore and Eula Dell Shelton Fore, was born on July 10, 1932 in Ringling, Oklahoma. She attended Dale Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1950. She worked at Shawnee Medical Center in administration and continued to volunteer for many years after retiring. Wanda was a long time member of Liberty Baptist Church, a place where she met some of her best friends, and that she loved with all of her heart. She enjoyed painting, cooking, baking, playing cards with her friends on Friday, Cracker Barrel with the church ladies, watching the Cowboys play, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family (especially the grandchildren).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Harmon Fore and Eula Dell Fore, her aunt Beulah Weston, as well as her grandson, Ryan Norris Gann. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children and their spouses. She is survived by: son, Mike Brittain and wife Debi; son, Larry Brittain and wife Jackie; and daughter Teresa Gann and husband Sam. Wanda is also survived by a legacy of grandchildren and their families: Michael Brittain; Jason and Meredith Brittain; Jennifer and Daniel Mosburg; Kim Jones and Dennis Jones; Larry Allen Brittain; Zachary Brittain; Jordan Brittain; Branden Brittain; Chance Mathews; and Kayci Gann.

A funeral service for Wanda Lou will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801.

Wanda Lou will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801.
