Albert "Al" "Sonny" "Mighty" Bishop Jr.

Mr. Albert “Al” “Sonny” “Mighty” Bishop Jr., 73, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Mr. Bishop loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and gardener. Mr. Bishop took pride in his pond and in his vegetable and flower gardens.  Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Albert and Thelma Mosley Bishop; siblings, Judy Arnold, Danny Bishop, Jeanette Jordan, Sue Sutherland, Libby Nickels, Albert Lee and Sandy Bishop. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years, Brigitte Bauer Bishop; children, Tammy Wallace (Clay), Conny Jones (Bobby), Brenda Carol McCallister (Clifton); grandchildren, Amy Jones, Heather McCallister, Emily Milburn, Bradly Winters, Brandon Winters, Aiden Wallace and Cadence Wallace; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Shyanne and Kimber; siblings, Linda Ferguson, Kathy Philpot, Dorothy Lee, Donna Reffett, Debbie Bishop and Tommy Bishop. Funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Monday, November 27, 2017, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial at Brookland Cemetery.
