Amanda Nicole Turner

   Amanda Nicole Turner, age 36 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1986, to Joe and Barbie (Batovsky) Turner. Amanda was a member of the Southwest Breast Cancer Support Group and was Catholic by faith. She loved to watch movies with her loved ones, enjoyed singing and fixing hair and makeup and would dive head-first into any endeavor. She loved playing “Left 4 Dead” and “Guitar Hero” with her son, but her true passion was spending time with her children. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Woodrow Turner, Jr. and Marie Batovsky and uncles, John Batovsky Jr., and Andy Batovsky.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bryson Cade Thurber and Autumn Marie Turner; parents, Joe and Barbie Turner; brother, Derek Turner and his wife Brooke; grandmother, Lois A. Turner and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.

   A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10 am at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 903 Fairdale Road in Fairdale, Ky. Amanda loved bright colors and the family invites anyone who attends the service to wear bright colors to honor her.
