Andrew "Andy" Albert Gearing, Jr.

Mr. Andrew “Andy” Albert Gearing, Jr., age 77, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on October 28, 2017. Mr. Gearing was a glassblower for Rueff Sign Company and an avid University of Kentucky fan. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Andrew Gearing, Sr. and Kay Hadley Krill. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Annette Sweeney (Doug); sisters, Sharon Wilson and Pat Bogard (Donnie); aunt, Jean Brewer; and a host of family and friends. The family wishes to express special thanks to Bill and Dorothy Hall and Diane Winchell for taking such good care of him.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2-8 pm and Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
