

Mrs. Anna Belle Weird, age 83, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Mrs. Weird was born in Shepherdsville, KY on April 28, 1941 to the late Samuel Jackson and Lula B. Drake Roby. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and took great care of everyone in her life.
In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Louis “Bud” Weird; brothers, Stanley Jackson and Richard Roby and her sister, Dorothy Dishon preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Anna Adams, Jackie Sosa and Traci Weird (Lamar Jenkins); grandchildren, Stefani Adams, Timothy “Timmy” Floyd, Dr. Justin Morris (Emily) and Kelsea Jenkins; step-grandchildren, Terry Keith Floyd, Toby Edward Floyd, Teresa Floyd Beam and Taft Eugene Floyd; great-grandchildren, Teagan Floyd, Harley Floyd and one on the way, Jackson Morris; siblings, Samuel “Junie” Jackson Jr. (Jerrie), Goldie Lanham and George Roby Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many dear friends. She loved everyone very much.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Mt. Eden Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of her service at 11:30 am at the funeral home.
