Arthur "Al" Allen Crady, Sr.

Mr. Arthur “Al” Crady, Sr, age 81, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, May 13, 2022. Al was born in Louisville, KY on June 17, 1940, to the late Arthur Emil Crady and Gladys (Vaughn) Wuest. He was retired from Conco, belonged to the American Legion Post, Shepherdsville, Ky, attended Little Flock Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and old car shows. He loved his wife and his children most of all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joey Routin, and a sister Jackie Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 61 years, Barbara (Age) Crady, his three sons Arthur “Allen” Crady, Jr (Cheryl), and Bryan Crady (Jerri), one daughter, Trina Vaught (Erik) and Arthur Lee Allen, one sister, Mary “Mike” Crady, 8 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, along with a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with inurnment to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
