Barbara Ann Collins

Mrs. Barbara Ann Collins, age 84, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Mrs. Collins was born in Louisville, KY on May 5, 1940 to the late Clyde Norris and Jessie Morrison. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margie Leezer. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Billy Collins Sr.; children, Karen Owens (Rob), Patricia Ressor (Tom) and Billy Collins Jr. (Stephanie); grandchildren, Morgan, Zack, Tyler, Sydney, Ben, Alex and Amanda; sisters, Mary Gail Ripley (Roger), Penny Hasch and Kathleen  Perryman and a host of other dear family and friends.

 Memorial mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3509 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY). Celebration of Life luncheon in the gym of the church will follow service.

Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd) is handling her cremation services.
