Barbara Allen Gordon

Ms. Barbara Allen (Riggs) Gordon, age 76, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Ms. Gordon was born in Bullitt County, KY on November 10, 1946 to the late Roy and Etta Mae Riggs. She retired from General Shale Brick Yard after 32 years of dedication and after retirement she helped take care of her beloved grandchildren. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Beth Mercer (Steve), Charles Puckett (Kelly), Amanda Constant and Tanya Adams (Jarrett); grandchildren, Scott, Jacob, Conner, Carson, Lane, Klara, Bill, Paige, Heaven, Bradford and Peyton; great-granddaughter, Charlie Mae and a great- grandson on the way; 3 brothers; 3 sisters and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of her service at noon at the funeral home.
