Barbara Sue Moore

Mrs. Barbara Sue (Mason) Moore, age 83, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on September 10, 2025. Barbara Moore was born on April 17, 1942, in Lynch, KY to the late Hargis and Bonnie (Hall) Mason. As a homemaker, she was an amazing cook. Barb enjoyed going to the beach and was an avid reader, often reading a book a day. She was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, husband, Arthur Moore; and siblings, Bob Mason, Betty LeBlanc, and Ben Mason.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her children, Kitty Powell (Darius), David Moore (Patti), and Christopher Scott Moore; grandchildren, Mason (Kristi), Brett (Sitha), Andrew, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Inna, Izza, Ilan, Kennedy, Isis, Eleanor, and Ilha; and sisters, Billie Disney and Sandy Pollard.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Parkland Baptist Church (7206 Shepherdsville Road Louisville, KY 40219). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 11:30 am until the time of the service at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
