Betty was a Christian by faith and a member of Grace Church of Louisville. She was creative. She enjoyed traveling and hiking with her family making everlasting memories. She was a creative soul and liked to make cups and keepsakes for her family. She also enjoyed cross stitching and playing bingo.
She is survived by her loving husband, William David Kummer, her children Danny (Alana), Tony (Esterline), Michelle Clements (Danny), Andrew (Hillary); her sister Gladys Stieben (David) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandi LaRue, sisters, Barbara Hogg and Carol Sue Kyle and a brother Robert Allen Kyle.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, March 30, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY with interment to follow at Mount Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 3pm - 8pm and again on Monday from 9 am till time of service at 12 noon.
