Mrs. Billie Jean (B.J.) Cox, age 75, of Pioneer Village, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Mrs. Cox was born in Louisville, KY on March 29, 1944 to the late John and Ruby Curtsinger. Mrs. Cox was a godly woman that attended Church of Our Savior and loved her family.
Among those who preceded her in death are, her parents; and brothers, John and J.W. Curtsinger.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Len Cox; daughter, Lisa A. Parker; granddaughter, Brittanie Cox; great grandson, Brayden Cox; brother, Raymond (Buddy) Curtsinger; sister, JoAnn Cull; a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, July 29, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1pm until 8pm and on Monday from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
