Brenda Sue Lewis

Mrs. Brenda Lewis, 79 of Shepherdsville, Ky, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 3, 2021. She was born in Columbia, KY on August 5, 1942, to the late James Tyler Roberts and Oneta “Baker” Roberts.  Mrs. Lewis was a retired beautician, belonged to Eastern Gate Baptist Church, she graduated from Taylor County high school as the “Class Clown”, she enjoyed life and making people laugh, she loved fall festivals, making bourban balls, she liked to dance, she enjoyed entertaining company, and a good meal at cracker barrel, and most of all she loved her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters Norma Jean Sinkhorn, and Linda Lou Roberts.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 54 years William Carl Lewis, Jr; her daughter Vickie Coy (Alan); and brother James Tyler Roberts, Jr (Alan); along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2pm until 7:00pm. Again, on Thursday November 11,2021 from 10:00am until time of service.
