Brian Keith Threlkel

Mr. Brian Keith Threlkel, age 56, of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully, May 14, 2025, with his family by his side.   Brian was born in Louisville, KY on January 30, 1969, to the late Ben G. Threlkel and Mary Catherine “Wimpy” (Raymer) Threlkel. 

He was a plumber for Thompson Brothers Plumbing Company. 

Besides his parents, Ben and Wimpy, he is also preceded in death by his grandchild, Sebastian Martin.

He leaves to cherish his memory children, Erika Reed (Jon) and Summar Threlkel; grandchildren, Noelle Martin, Crew Eads, Dakari Mays and Winter Mays; siblings, Lanette Mayes (Keith), Paul Threlkel (Kelly) and LeAnn Norris (Billy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow.  Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brian’s name can be made to the Brown Cancer Center, 529 S. Jackson Street Louisville, KY 40202.
