Brian Edward Young

Brian Edward Young, age 50, of Brandenburg, KY, formerly of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on March 24, 2021. Brian was born on November 10, 1970 in Louisville, KY to Donald Young and the late Sandra (Clifford) Young. Brian worked for Patterson Painting. He was an artist and loved to hunt and fish. Among those that preceded him in death are his mother, and stepmom.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sarenity Young; father, Donald Young; siblings, Tammy Young (Robert), Steve Young (Mary), Diane Johnson (Ken), Denise Hurst (Sam) and Joey Blaydes (Lori); former spouse, Cindy Young; a host of nieces and nephews; canine companion, Riley; and 2 goats, Elvis and Charlie Daniels.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2-8 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
