Mr. Daniel Wayne Hahn, age 59, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born in Louisville on March 6, 1963 to Charles David and Etta Mae Hahn. Mr. Hahn worked as a farmer and general contractor. He was a member of Plum Creek Baptist Church but attended Little Mount Baptist Church where his brother ministers. Mr. Hahn is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and brother, Matthew Hahn.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years, Vicki Varble Hahn; son, Scott Anderson (Leslie); daughter, Jennifer Baker (Nathan); grandchildren, Lily, Katelyn, (the triple A’s) Atticus, Arya, Aayla; parents, David and Etta Hahn; brothers, Allan Hahn (Genia), Jason Hahn (Jodette); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 12:00pm Noon in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Hwy 44 East at Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Mount Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm Noon. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or to the Brain Trauma Foundation.
