David Allen Lane

Mr. David Allen Lane, age 45, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 17, 2018. David was born in Louisville, KY on February 1, 1973. He served in the United States Air Force where he was also a Supply Management Craftsman. He was most recently an employee of Ford Motor Co.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his daughter, Chastity Nichole Lane; grandparents, Rosina Lane, Earl Lane, Betsan Hoskins Sullivan and Millard Hoskins and his step- grandfather, Jess Sullivan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol Lane; children, Sarah Josie Lane, Katelyn Bridget Prewitt and Abigail Renae Prewitt; stepdaughter, Samantha Bailey; his parents, Josie and James Lane; sister, Robin Lane (Kimberly Kochersperger) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Disabled American Veterans or the American Cancer Society.
