Debbie Sue Moore

Mrs. Debbie S. Moore, age 68, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Mrs. Moore, was born in Shepherdsville, Ky, on March 31, 1952 to the late Virgil and Grace “Fox” Jackson. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. She also worked for ElmCroft Senior Living, as a food service worker.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, Donnie Moore; her son, Eric Samuels; sister, Margie Mudd; and 2 brothers, Raymond, and Jim (Dobbie) Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Donna Tinnell; sister, Shelia Cox (Joseph); brother, Virgil  (Billy) Jackson (Norma); daughter- in -law, Beth Samuels; niece, Mandy Smith, (Jamison); grandchildren, Jamie Samuels Holck (Matty), Jessica Samuels Van Houten (Joshua), and Jenna Samuels;  3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. And Tuesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
