Deborah "Debbie" Susan (Luckett) Taylor

Deborah Susan “Debbie” (Luckett) Taylor, age 68, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 15, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1956, in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Bertrand and Evelyn (Spalding) Luckett. Debbie retired from Humana after 35 years of faithful service. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville and was a huge University of Louisville fan. She was outgoing and loved to travel, spend time with her friends and meet new people. Debbie was a fitness fanatic and enjoyed cooking. Her true passion was her family; spending time with her two sons and her grandson is what Debbie held most dear to her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Lynn Luckett, Mary McNatt, Michelle Graybeal and Judy Poston; brothers, Stephen Luckett, Mitchell Luckett, Gerald Luckett and Gary Luckett; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Chiszar and Roy Bruner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Travis Taylor (Payton) and Parker Taylor (Katherine); grandson, Easton Bartley and a precious grandchild on the way; sisters, Connie Chiszar, Linda Bruner and Paula Teague; brothers-in-law, Mike McNatt and Danny Graybeal and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
