Dennis Charles Hightower

Dennis Charles Hightower, age 72, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born on July 22, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Mary (Butterfield) Hightower. Dennis was Catholic by faith and a long time attendee of Gethsemane Baptist Church and a  member of Carpenters Local Union Number 64. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Hightower.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Brandy Menjivar (Guillermo) and Robin Mullins (Matthew); brother, William R. Hightower, Jr.; sisters, Margie Bentley and Theresa McCubbins; grandchildren, Brittney, Autumn and Preston; great-grandchildren, Owen, Damon and Charles and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 2 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 12 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
