Donna Sue Davis

Mrs. Donna Sue Davis (Susie) 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at home. Susie was born April 8, 1948. She leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years, William Terry Davis. Susie had two daughters, Dawn Davis (Marshall) and Angie Fox (Aaron). She had 4 granddaughters, Brenna Hodge, Kaitlin, Kerrie and Keeva Fox. She is survived by her loving siblings, Sharon Myers (Joe), Donna Phillips, Claudia Perkins (Jerry), Holly Taylor, Pat Phillips (Tina), and Shawn Phillips as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rowland Sr. and Norma Phillips; brother, Rowland (Butch) Phillips, Jr. and brother-in-law, Robert Taylor.

She graduated from Durrett High School in 1966. She worked at St. Anthony Hospital for many years. After retiring, she spent her time spoiling her granddaughters. The family would like to thank Andrea Ector, her caregiver for many years. Your kindness and loving heart are greatly appreciated.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church (5915 Outer Loop) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air – Archdiocese of Louisville and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
