Edward "Ed" Thomas McKinney

Mr. Edward McKinney “Ed”, age 64, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 28, 2019. He was born in Rhode Island, on December 4, 1954, to the late Lee and Rita (Rivet) McKinney.  Mr. McKinney loved politics and cooking out on the barbeque.  He also loved to travel and even lived in China for a while.  Mr. McKinney was a romantic and had many friends. He was a family man who loved his wife and daughter dearly.  He never told his daughter “No”.  Mr. McKinney will be greatly missed.  

He is preceded in death by his daughter Libby McKinney.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 22 years, Marietta (Ward) McKinney; daughter, Mindy Wilson; 4 fur-babies and 5 grand fur-babies; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
