Ernest "FUZZ" Minton

Reverend Ernest Layne Minton, "FUZZ", age 54, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father, May 8, 2017. Reverend Minton was born June 15, 1962 in Abilene Texas, to Troy and Billie Joyce Minton. Reverend Minton was a dedicated security officer for Securitas and an ordained minister. He loved to ride his Harley and enjoyed camping. Reverend Minton never met a stranger; anyone spending any time with him at all became his friend. He was a great dad who loved his kids and his grandchildren. Barbara, Troy, and Jeremiah and their families meant the world to him. Reverend Minton will be missed by all who have had the privilege to know him.

Reverend Minton leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Troy Minton; his two sons, Troy Minton (Angela), and Jeremiah Minton (Jennifer); his daughter, Barbara Butler (John); 10 grandchildren, Reylen and Amaryllis Minton, Adam, Victoria, Anthony and Valenica Butler, and Robert, Conner, and Gavin Minton; two sisters, Rhonda Bozanic, and Christine Bozanic; and his brother, Timmy Calandrino.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 14, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.), Shepherdsville, Ky. with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, and from 11:00 until time of service on Sunday.
