

Gary Baker, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away February 14, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Gary was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Baker and Frances Coomer Baker on December 18, 1958. He was a graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He retired from Publishers Printing as an IT Specialist and was an Air Force veteran.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Frances; niece, Amanda Baker; nephew, Roger Williams Jr. and great-nephew, Raymond Downey.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Brenda Williams (Roger) and Glenda Williams (Lewis); brothers, Everett Baker (Anita), Roger Baker (Teresa) and Mark Baker; nieces, Dena Williams, Jade Williams, Alena Muse, Rachel Baker, Katherine Baker; nephews, Jason Williams, Mathew Baker, Roger Baker Jr., Brandon Baker, and Travis Baker; 23 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy.), with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Columbia, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home.
