Glenn Edmond "Jack" Hawkins

Mr. Glenn “Jack” Hawkins, age 92, of Mt. Washington, KY returned to his Heavenly Father Friday, April 4, 2025. Mr. Hawkins was born on December 6, 1932, in Larue County, KY to the late William Glenn Hawkins and Georgia Beashear Hawkins. Glenn was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church in Campbellsville, KY. He was an Army Veteran of Korean Conflict, and a Colonel. He truly will be missed by all who knew him.

He married Martha McCandless, December 27, 1949. She preceded him in death March 21, 1966. He married Edith Caulk July 6, 1967. She preceded him in death June 21, 2013. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Denise Corbin and Curtis Corbin of Mt. Washington KY; Grandson, Brian (Sabrina) Corbin; 3 grandson, Liam, Colin, and Gabriel Corbin; granddaughter, Amelia Corbin of Mt. Washington, KY.; brother, Donald (Peggy) Hawkins of Hodgenville, KY. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Kevin Corbin; son deceased at birth; two brothers, William “Bill” Hawkins and Robert Norman Hawkins

Funeral service will be held at 12:00p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Upton Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 9am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
