Grace Nicole Lester

Ms. Grace Nicole Lester, age 20, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 23, 2001. Grace taught as a daycare teacher at Puzzles Fundome. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Lester; brother, Ethan Beichler; and cousin, Ashleigh Rountree.

Grace fought a hard battle with cancer for a year. She earned her angel wings. When she wasn’t going through treatments, she loved hanging out with her friends and going to the lake. Her hobbies included fishing, boating, riding the ATV, horseback riding, and applying makeup. Grace was outgoing and the life of the party. She never met a stranger and her smile was contagious. Grace will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Jamie Carney (Chad); father, Christopher Lester (Brittany); sisters, Makayla Lester, Brooklyn Lester, Lillian Ashby, Atley Lester, Annie Lester, Kaylan Brown; brother, Greyson Lester; grandparents, Janet Lester, William Wallace (Debbie), Mike Salsman (Shawna), Billy Beichler (Theresa); cat, Mr. Toby; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm.
