Mrs. Grace Evelyn (Mathers) Nolen, age 80, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Mrs. Nolen was born in Orange County, Indiana on April 5, 1939 to the late Carlton Cook and Nora Mathers. Mrs. Nolen was a retired school bus driver for Bullitt Co.. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; and husband, Fordson “Fred” Nolen.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Patricia Nalley (Ronald); grandsons, Jayson & James Nalley (Tiffanie); great grandson, Nathan Nalley; great granddaughters, Taylor and Mia Grace Nalley; sister, Betty Jo Crites; brother, Laverne Strothers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
