Helen Patterson

Helen Patterson, age 95, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father January 15, 2015. She was a 50 year member of the Star of Hope Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville.

Among those who preceded her in death include her husband, Vernon "Pat" Patterson; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

Mrs. Patterson leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Quentin Johnson (Margaret) and Raymond Patterson (Anne); grandchildren, Elaine Maxwell (Shawn) and Alex Patterson (Carly); step-grandson, John Day; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patterson will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst. Donations may be made in her memory to the WKU College Heights Foundation or to Kosair Charities.
