James Alfred Arnold

Mr. James Alfred Arnold, age 90, of Boston, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on September 29, 2024. Mr. Arnold was born on October 8, 1933, in Louisville, KY to the late James Leo and Josie May (Hill) Arnold. He was a sheet metal worker with Local Union #110 and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, wife, Bobbie (Vineyard) Arnold; brother, Ralph Arnold; and sisters, Emma Rountree and Minnie Arnold.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Peggy Obanion (Glen), Donna Self (John), Elizabeth Pierson (Wayne), and Teresa Mogler (Darcy); 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-granddaughter; and sister, Francis Braham.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Highland Memory Gardens.
