James E. McWilliams age 82 of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday June 1, 2018. Mr. McWilliams was born on March 25, 1936 in Valley Station to the late Charles and Eva (Ray) McWilliams. James retired from Ford after 36 years of service. He enjoyed boating and was a loving husband of 60 years to Geraldine McWilliams and a loving Dad to his son.
He is preceded in death by his son Paul Hillerich; brothers, Emmett McWilliams, Charles McWilliams; sisters, Roberta Bowling and Norma Purcell.
Mr. McWilliams leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Geraldine (Neal) McWilliams; sisters, Betty Purcell, Janie Merriweather (Harry), Brenda Cox, brothers, William McWilliams, Paul McWilliams (Charlotte) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd at Preston Hwy) with burial in Risinger Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 1:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service in the chapel.
