James "Jim" Paul Rogers

James Paul “Jim” Rogers, age 68, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. He was born on September 19, 1955, in Noblesville, Indiana to the late Charles and Lucille Cobb Rogers. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family while boating on Lake Cumberland. He retired from Ford Truck Plant, was a member of UAW Local #862 and a member of UA Local #502.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 38 years, Martha Unser Rogers; brother, Dennie Rogers (Paula); sister, Portia Rogers; special niece, Denise Russell (Chris) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
