James "Harold" Metcalf

Mr. James "Harold" Metcalf, age 83, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Mr. Metcalf was the owner of Harold's Paint and Body Shop and he served his country in the Army during the Korean war, was a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of Life Bridge Christian Church.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, James and Mary Margaret Metcalf.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years, Ruth Beck Metcalf; children, Sheila Parrish (Steve), Lisa Williamson (Chris), James Eric Metcalf; grandchildren, Jason Parrish, Crystal Myrick, Michael Parrish, Logan Williamson, Trey Williamson; great grandchildren, Trenton and Taylor Myrick, Tinley Parrish, Paisley Parrish and Kylie Williamson.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd. with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff Ky. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, 2-8 p.m. June 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
