Mr. James Warner Myers, age 86, of Brooks, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, May 4, 2018. Mr. Myers was born in Glendale, KY on February 27, 1932 to the late D.B. and Ethel Mae Myers. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his siblings, Larry H. Myers, Eddie Tatum and Marion Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 64 years, Marilyn J. Myers; his daughters, Lori Hawkins (Jeff) and Julie McGuire (Randall); his granddaughter, Jama Kleinhelter (Chris) and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
