Jeffrey "Jeff" Ray Smith

He was a 1982 graduate of Southern High School and was a dedicated truck driver and was currently employed with FedEx Freight. He was always tinkering on projects or helping friends with theirs. He enjoyed many favorite hobbies such as lake life, off roading and spending time with various local clubs like KNI, Derby City and NSRA. He was a cherished friend to many and loving caregiver to his mother for many years.

His father, Billy Ray Smith and sister, Mandy Colton preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancé, Lisa Cullins and her 4 children; mother, Joan Smith; nephew, Nicholas Colton; brother-in-law, Rich Colton; dear friends, Craig Wooldridge and Kevin Ryan and countless other beloved friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

Anyone attending Jeff’s services is welcome to show their love by filling the parking lot with Jeeps.
