Jerry "J.R." Bell

Jerry Randle “JR” Bell, age 87, of West Point, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 23, 2023.   He was born in Grayson County, KY on May 14, 1936 to the late Harley and Riccie Logsdon Bell. He was a retired Pipe Fitter for Louisville Gas and Electric, an Army veteran and a member of Knob Creek Union Church. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dona Bell; children, Clifford Bell (Martha), Patty Bell, Annett Bell and Nathan Bell; two grandchildren, Michael and Arron; two great grandchildren, Emma and Madelyn; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Friday, December 29, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with private burial to follow in the Knob Creek Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 11 am until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Knob Creek Union Church or West Point Baptist Church.
