Jess Robert Peek, Jr.

Jess Robert Peek, Jr., age 74, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on August 12, 2022.  He attended Highland Baptist Church and was an Army veteran. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 22, 1947, to the late Jess Robert Peek, Sr. and Bertha Abel Peek. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jo Ann Tuttle.  Jess leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Peek; son, Robert Peek (Denise) ; step-son, William McCain (Tammy); siblings, Peter Peek (Kathy), William Peek (Paula), Kathy Sue Peek and Becky Henry (Mark); nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 12 pm until 8 pm on Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
