Jimmy R. Glass

Jimmy Glass, age 74, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on January 17, 2026, with his family by his side. Jimmy was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 30, 1951, to the late James Rollin Glass and Virginia (Davis) Glass. He was a self-employed owner and operator of Glass Home Improvements for over 35 years before he retired. Jimmy was a loving and devoted husband, dad, Pop, and brother. He loved fishing, hunting, and loved to make and sell Balsa wood crank baits. He truly loved spending time with his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Patsy Rogers. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Glass, son Jimmy Glass, Jr. (Dawn), daughter Ashley Losch, grandchildren Lily Ekberg (Joseph), Reid Glass (Erika), Carter Glass, Caleb Losch, Adelynn Losch, great-grandson John Ekberg, 3 brothers Jerry, Billy, and Ronnie Glass, 2 sisters Peggy Shields, Sharon Walls (Orville), along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday January 23, 2026, at 12:00 noon at (Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. Until the time of service. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
