Mr. John “Bruce” Donohue, 71 of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Mr. Donohue was an Army Veteran ranking as a SPEC-4, a Vietnam veteran where he was a Door Gunner, and member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Charles LaGoria Donohue and Mary Roberta (Smith) Donohue, and his brothers, Robert Lee (Dorothy) Donohue, Roy Francis Donohue, Charles Louis Donohue,and David LaGoria Donohue. He leaves to cherish his memory his sibilngs, Phyllis Nicholson (Wayne), Marjorie Blackall (Jack), William Joseph Donohue, and James Carl Donohue (Sharon); son, Quentin Caudill; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12pm Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm and Thursday from 10am until the time of the service.
