John Odis Norris, age 53, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was a self-employed carpenter. John was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 13, 1969, to the late Odis Ray Norris and Erika Arnold Norris. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Diana Stewart, Jeanette Cardwell and Carolina Schlichter; nephew, Brian Cardwell. John leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jonathan York (Emily Bale); sisters, Susie Forrest (Sonny) and Nancy Stewart (Dwight); and a grandson, Nathaniel York; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 11 am until time of service at the funeral home.
